Chief Financial Officer

Mary-Ann has been the Chief Financial Officer at Old Mutual Alternative Investments since September 2019. Prior to this, she was the Finance Manager where her responsibilities included amongst others, providing appropriate monthly management accounting information, preparing annual business plans, profit forecasts and quarterly reports for Board and Risk Committee meetings.
From 1990 to 2005 Mary-Ann worked for the Client Accounting team at Old Mutual Investments, handling client and tax reporting, ensuring accurate valuation of equity and bond instruments on the investment administration system, as well as liaising with external auditors, among other duties. Between 2008 and 2011 she worked within a few Sanlam businesses, namely Sanlam Life Insurance as a senior accountant as well as Glacier by Sanlam as a Group Accountant and thereafter as Financial Accountant.
On her return to Old Mutual Investment Group in 2011, Mary-Ann was seconded to African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) as the Finance Manager. She was responsible for various reporting requirements for the business, including provisional tax return reporting, directors’ and shareholders’ reporting, audit preparations, along with cash flow management, among other responsibilities.
