13th June 2018, London: Old Mutual Alternative Investments (OMAI), Africa’s largest private alternative investment manager, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the “Special Recognition: LP of the Year Award” at a ceremony hosted by Private Equity Africa (PEA) in London, on 12 June 2018.
The Private Equity Africa Awards 2018 are prestigious investment awards that recognise and reward the best long-term performing management teams investing across the African continent over the past decade. The “LP of the Year” winner is a specialist category and OMAI was selected by an independent panel of judges drawn from the LPs and industry advisory community. Their selections are based on recommendations from the London Business School Institute of Private Equity and the PEA Awards Advisory Panel.

In addition, Africa Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM), a member of Old Mutual Alternative Investments, went home with the Infrastructure Deal of the Year Award for their portfolio company Albatros Energy Mali.
