We are committed to achieving the performance objectives of our funds through active, on-the-ground involvement in all our investments.

Infrastructure assets have low correlations to other asset classes – offering institutional investors an attractive diversified source of equity return over the long term. These assets also have strong CPI protection characteristics and stable projected cash flows.

Our infrastructure teams has diverse skills and experience that enables us to identify attractive investment opportunities across a wide range of infrastructure sectors and services.

Our investments are great engines of employment and skills development, as well as providing an enabling platform on which other economic activity can be based. Our investments in toll-road infrastructure, for example, provide access to ports for the import and export of manufactured goods.

We ensure that our funds remain diversified and we only consider investments that allow us to acquire a significant stake.

We are successful in what we do because of the long-term partnerships we form with governments, financial institutions and prominent operators. There are tremendous opportunities in Southern Africa for us to partner with governments to meet infrastructure development needs. Through public private partnerships (PPP), a government can facilitate world-class infrastructure without impeding their social infrastructure spend. It is also an astute way for the state to procure significant equipment and implement large scale construction projects while limiting the operational risks.
